Arch Photo Pod – The Architectural Photography Podcast

I absolutely love podcasts. I have been listening to them for the last 10+ years and started making my own about 10 years ago. I have produced and published several podcasts for others, as well as a total of 4 podcasts of my own – and I am excited to announce that I have launched my 5th podcast – The Architectural Photography Podcast (Arch Photo Pod).

I have been wanting to do this for a long time but I really couldn’t figure out the best way to do this that wasn’t already being done. Finally, with the help of a TON of travel, I figured out how I could pull this off… by interviewing some of my friends in the industry IN PERSON!

Logistically, it is actually an absolute nightmare – so I only intend on doing anywhere from 6-8 episodes at first and may make new ones in the future.

In this inaugural episode, I sit down with one of my mentors and world-renowned architectural photographer and meme king, Simon Devitt. Back in March, Simon came from his hometown of Auckland, New Zealand to photograph a few residential architecture projects and I had flown out to assist him. The weather wasn’t cooperating so shoots were postponed until later in the week, but I took the opportunity to start a podcast, and Simon was gracious enough to swing by for an hour.
