Interiors + Architecture Photography for a Modern Home in Charlotte, NC

Client: Wittehaus, Spoke & Hammer

Photographed for Wittehaus and Spoke and Hammer, the Cohen Davis Residence in Charlotte, North Carolina, balances openness and natural light with the privacy of enclosed courtyards. Large expanses of glass connect the interiors to sheltered outdoor spaces, while broad roof overhangs frame views and provide shade. The photography explores those connections alongside the home’s distinctive material palette: dark brick, horizontal wood siding, warm wood ceilings, and polished concrete floors. Views through the kitchen, dining area, living room, and bedroom show how light and sightlines connect the spaces, while closer compositions highlight cabinetry, clerestory windows, and wood screens. Together, the photographs document a home whose architecture creates room for both gathering and retreat.
