Church Photography - Long Hollow Church in Hendersonville
There are some environments I feel "at home" in. As a former corporate employee, office buildings are easy for me to understand and navigate. As a Christian architectural photographer, I always appreciate the opportunity to photograph a church because I understand what things are important to a congregation from an experience perspective.
I was excited when Visioneering Studios reached out to capture the new additions that were added to Long Hollow Church in Hendersonville, TN.
Long Hollow is one of the largest churches in Tennessee, and the Legacy Park addition represents a significant investment in the congregation's vision for community gathering outside of the sanctuary. The project included new outdoor recreational spaces, landscaped grounds, pergola structures, and architectural lighting designed to make the campus feel alive and welcoming well after dark. I photographed the campus across two sessions to capture both the aerial perspective and the ground-level details, working with the lighting design to document how the spaces feel when they are actually being used.
