Architectural Photography - East Nashville Cocktail Lounge
I recently photographed the Golden Pony in East Nashville for CDP Architecture. Aside from the incredible renovation that CDP Architecture completed, and the amazing retro / Wes Anderson vibes of the interior design work, one of the things that we really wanted to capture was the amazing light pouring into the space throughout the evening.
We were able to get in a few hours before the lounge opened to photograph the majority of the space, but once people began to flood in, you could really see this place come to life.
During our time, we also grabbed a nice casual dinner and beverage - would highly recommend visiting!
The Golden Pony exterior at dusk, the signage glowing against the renovated facade on Gallatin Avenue.
The front lounge just before opening, warm evening light pouring through the windows and across the red booth seating.
Looking through the open archway toward the bar, mid-century furniture and warm ambient light filling the space.
The main dining room with a wood plank ceiling, green upholstered booths, and afternoon light coming through the large street-facing windows.
The lounge beginning to fill up in the early evening, the red booth seating and warm light doing exactly what they were designed to do.
Guests at the bar as the evening picked up, the pendant lights and warm wood tones keeping the energy exactly right.
Looking in from the street, the bar interior visible through the large glass windows at street level.
A teal accent wall, vintage artwork, mustard chairs, and a beige sofa, the kind of corner that makes you want to stay.
The Golden Pony at twilight, soft ambient lighting and the lush greenery along the facade making the building feel settled into the neighborhood.
Working through the space with the team from CDP Architecture before the lounge opened for the evening.
