This multiple award winning series of images for both myself, MKA, and the other parties involved makes this one of my favorite projects to date. I was commissioned to photograph the new Nashville International Airport (BNA) terminal – specifially the main highlights of the terminal lobby’s suspended geometric art installations, created by Superabundant Atmospheres and artist Jacob Hashimoto as well as the structure itself, and suspension bridge.

The terminal’s guitar-shaped layout includes skylights, escalators, and large glass walls, designed by Magnusson Klemencic Associates, ensuring a seamless traveler experience. The project has earned numerous accolades, including the 2023 Excellence in Structural Engineering Award by SEAOI and the 2024 National Award of Merit in Aviation by DBIA.
