The challenge of having a blog and shooting panoramic photography is the you just can’t do the image justice. This is Catalina Island off the coast of Southern California. We were arriving here in a cruise ship early in the morning just as the light was getting ready to leave.
The first real experimenting in technique I did with with photography was in long exposure, or night photography. Before I knew about HR, I would use the shadows/highlights feature in Photoshop to achieve the same type of effect. This is a combination of the two.
